The unfortunate truth is that I began looking VERY Cynically at ALL televangelists after the late 80s. When I see them standing there in a suit that costs more than a months salary (and I have a decent job) and wearing the rings and talking prosperity gospel – sorry – I tune them out and want nothing to do with them. I too get embarassed and ashamed that these crooks are often the public face of Christianity….
