My little corner of the blogosphere has been quiet lately, and for good reason. My oldest daughter, Emily, is getting married this Sunday (February 14). She is marrying a young man (Aarron Rogers) whom both Michelle and I approve of and like a lot. Good thing, huh?! I’ll be performing the majority of the ceremony. My father-in-law (a pastor as well) will do the beginning of the ceremony so that I can walk Emily down the isle. Family and friends are coming from all over the country, and my entire church is invited to the wedding.
Needless to say, this is a busy time in the life of my family, and this week promises to be busier and even more stressful! If you think about it, please pray for us this week.
And, when things calm down a bit, I will re-enter the blogosphere. Lots to blog about, but no time to do so. Gotta go meet with Franck. Talk to you soon!

I so wish I could be there to celebrate with you all! It’s still hard to believe Emily is getting married, especially since my most vivid memories of her are when she was a little girl. I will pray for you all this week and I look forward to seeing you in March!
Love,
Jocelyn
Congrats!!
Will be praying for you and Michelle! Can’t wait to see the pics!!
Real, real bummed that I can’t be there this weekend. Can’t wait to see you guys in March!
“Daaaad! I met a man in Rome. And he’s brilliant and he’s wonderful and we’re getting maaaarrried!”
I love that line from Father of the Bride.
Congratulations on Emily’s upcoming marriage. My dad started to choke up right before he walked me down the aisle and I started to choke up too when I saw him. So I told him “Daddy you can’t make me cry – my mascara will run”. So he smiled and then walked me down the aisle and gave me away to Jesse. : )
The original Father of the Bride with Spencer Tracey is even more wonderful. Fun!
Is Mike ever going to blog again? When will the Muse strike his mind and ignite the pen/keyboard?
